Our team are trained in non licensed asbestos removal and disposal. We always advise an asbestos survey before any work can take place. Following a survey, if it is deemed necessary to remove the asbestos, our team are highly skilled in the safe removal and disposal of asbestos materials.
Health and safety is of the utmost importance to us. To that end, we employ a Group Compliance Manager to oversee all construction and maintenance projects. This not only helps to keep our own team safe but it also ensures the safety of our client’s workers and the general public.
Risk assessment method statement (RAMS)
Before any work can take place, we carry out a risk assessment and provide all RAMS documentation. Although not required by law, we take health and safety in the agricultural sector very seriously and work to ensure the safety of all involved.
Every job requires a construction phase health and safety plan. This document will be delivered to the client for review before any work can take place. This document will outline the scope of work, permits to work, fire and emergency procedures and first aid arrangements. It is important that you review this document carefully as it will form the foundation of all health and safety provisions for the duration of the project.
For new building projects, or changes to existing structures, we can advise on the planning application process and provide guidance, supporting documentation and planning design. In cases where planning permission has been granted with conditions, it is important that the Corverhill team are made aware of this from the early planning stages. We are experienced in working to conditions and providing documentation of these conditions.
